Massage therapy and beauty treatments remain available in all our locations upon reservation by phone at 1-877-761-2772.

You can enjoy our enchanting sites for free with a massage, a treatment, or with the purchase of a meal from our new “Nord to go” and “Fika to go” menus. Please note that the saunas, steam baths and whirlpools as well as the dining rooms of our 4 locations are temporarily closed following the most recent decree of the Quebec government. We will communicate the date of reopening of these facilities as soon as the directives allow it.

Vanilla and roasted almond milk

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ a vanilla bean or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of 15% cream
  • ¾ cup of blanched almonds, well roasted and coarsely chopped
  • ½ cup of sugar

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Split the half of the vanilla bean down its length using the tip of a paring knife. Scrape out the seeds.
  2. In a pan bring the milk, heavy cream, almonds, sugar, vanilla seeds and bean to a boil. Turn down the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain through a sieve. If you use vanilla extract instead of the vanilla bean, add it now.
