Sample the French cuisine with the following recipes for a marinated sardines hot dog with a white onion salad, apples and cilantro, a classic hot dog with sauerkraut and Toulouse sausage, a hot dog with merguez sausage and fresh tomato salsa as well as the matching French wines proposed by “Ateliers et Saveurs”!

Marinated sardines hot dog and white onion salad, apples and cilantro

Ingredients

  • 1 container of fresh sardines
  • 1/2 a lemon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • Cilantro to taste
  • An apple cut into julienne strips
  • Hot dog bun

RECIPE

  • Marinate sardines in the lemon juice and olive oil for 48 hours.
  • Mix the onions, cilantro and the julienned apple and put the mixture on the bottom half of the hot dog bun.
  • Put the sardines on the mixture in the hot dog bun.

Classic hot dog with sauerkraut and Toulouse sausage

Ingredients

  • Toulouse sausage
  • 1 chopped cabbage
  • 100gr bacon
  • A pinch of pink pepper
  • A pinch of fresh thyme
  • Lemon zest
  • One garlic clove
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dijon mustard
  • Hot dog bun

RECIPE

  • Mix all the ingredients except the sausage and the bun.
  • Put the sausage on the bottom half of the bun and add the sauerkraut mixture on top.
  • The hot dog is now ready for you to savour.

Hot dog with merguez sausage and fresh tomato salsa

Ingredients

  • Merguez sausage 100% lamb meat
  • Hot dog bun
  • Two tomatoes, diced
  • Juice of one fresh lemon
  • 1 onion, diced
  • One garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper cut into julienne strips

RECIPE

  • Mix all the ingredients except the sausage and the bun.
  • Put the sausage on the bottom half of the bun and add the tomato salsa mixture on top.
  • The hot dog is now ready for you to savour.
