We recommend that you book your treatment or massage in advance to ensure availability by contacting customer service at 1-877-761-2772. When booking a treatment or massage, you will be able to add a priority access to the thermal experience.

If you wish to enjoy the thermal experience only, you may make an online reservation for a specific date and time of arrival at least 24 hours in advance, or you may arrive at the spa at a time of your choosing without a reservation. You will be able to access the facilities on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the maximum capacity in effect.

New procedures

An adapted customer experience

Here are the measures we ask you to respect in order to have an enjoyable and safe wellness experience for all.

  • BOOKING

    We recommend that you book your treatment or massage in advance to ensure availability by contacting customer service at 1-877-761-2772. When booking a treatment or massage, you will be able to add a priority access to the thermal experience.

    If you wish to enjoy the thermal experience only, you may make an online reservation for a specific date and time of arrival at least 24 hours in advance, or you may arrive at the spa at a time of your choosing without a reservation. You will be able to access the facilities on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the maximum capacity in effect.

  • ARRIVAL

    You should arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time, so that you can take full advantage of your treatment and as the new procedures that have been put in place require a little more time than usual.

  • HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE

    You will have to answer a health questionnaire before you can enter our facilities. If you are experiencing symptoms, have travelled out of the country or are likely to have been exposed to Covid-19 in the last 14 days, unfortunately we will have to ask you to reschedule your visit at a later time, for the health and safety of all.

  • HAND WASHING

    Hand washing is mandatory at the entrance and exit of the spa, as well as before and after your treatment. Disinfection stations will be available throughout the site.

  • SOCIAL DISTANCING

    The social distance of 1 metre must be respected everywhere on the site, except for the treatment rooms, where additional measures have been taken. In some places, signs and ground signage to direct traffic have been installed to facilitate distancing.

  • MANDATORY SHOWER

    Before accessing the pools and baths, a passage through the locker rooms and a shower will be mandatory for all.Your personal belongings must be left in the locker that will be assigned to you, where a clean towel and bathrobe will be waiting for you on arrival.

  • REMOVAL OF WATER FOUNTAINS AND COMMON OBJECTS

    As the water fountains are currently closed, you can buy a bottle of water at the reception desk or bring your own already filled bottle with you to the site. Some common and shared items such as cotton pads and mouthwash have also been removed from the locker rooms. Hair dryers are however available for use.

  • WEARING A MASK

    The mask or face cover is mandatory when travelling inside our facilities, but can be removed once seated. It is also recommended when travelling outside. We invite you to bring your own mask.

    During treatments and massages, a medical mask must be worn for the entire duration of the treatment, with the exception of face treatments. The medical mask will be provided to you on site.

  • METHOD OF PAYMENT

    We ask you to pay by debit, credit or gift card only. Cash is not accepted until further notice.

New measures have been implemented

Here are the measures we have adopted for your safety and well-being

  • MAXIMAL CAPACITY

    The maximum number of clients admitted on site, but also in certain restricted areas such as locker rooms, is limited in order to make social distancing possible.

  • RISK ASSESSMENT QUESTIONNAIRE

    A daily Covid-19 risk assessment questionnaire for all employees, massage therapists and clients has been put in place as well as protocols as recommended by public health and CNESST.

  • DISINFECTION

    The frequency of cleaning and disinfection of all surfaces, goods and areas of high traffic has been increased. Care equipment and treatment rooms are rigorously disinfected between each customer, as well as keys, bracelets, padlocks and lockers.

  • Shield icon for website, application, printing, document, poster design, etc.

    BODY PROTECTION

    All employees in contact with customers wear masks at all times. Our employees and massage therapists providing care wear a mask as well as an eye protection. Protective walls have also been installed at the cash registers and at various key locations.

  • HAND WASHING

    Our employees follow a strict handwashing protocol; employees and massage therapists giving the treatments wash their hands before and after every treatment.

  • CHECK-UP

    The usual check-up will be done verbally with your massage therapist or esthetician before your treatment in order to limit contact with shared objects.

  • COMMITMENT

    We are committed to following and respecting all recommendations and regulations issued by public health.

  • Are the facilities, treatments and massages offered at Strøm available again?

    For all our locations, all facilities and services are available again, including the thermal experience, dining rooms and terraces, saunas and steam baths, indoor relaxation rooms as well as massage therapy and beauty treatments.

  • Do I need to make a reservation to enjoy the facilities?

    We recommend that you reserve your treatment or massage in advance to ensure availability by contacting customer service at 1-877-761-2772. By reserving a treatment or massage, you will be able to add a priority access for the thermal experience.

  • Have your accommodation capacities been revised for site access?

    The capacity of each of our locations has been revised to allow for social distancing. Maximum capacities are also indicated at the entrance of each facility and must be respected by our clients.

  • What are your current group policies?

    We ask our clients to respect the quietness of the site and all the sanitary measures in place, including social distancing with people who are not part of the same family bubble.

  • What are the main measures in place to ensure health and customer safety?

    Strøm Nordic Spa is committed to respecting and enforcing all the measures and instructions issued by the Institut national de santé publique du Québec which are integrated into our response plan for Covid-19.

    More specifically, these measures target five key areas:

    • Site improvement measures
    • Adherence to physical distancing measures
    • Implementation and application of strict hygiene measures
    • Application of respiratory etiquette
    • Provision of protective equipment
  • What specific measures are applied for Strøm's employees and massage therapists?

    Employees and massage therapists must complete a daily risk assessment questionnaire for Covid-19 and must follow isolation protocols, if applicable, as recommended by public health and CNESST.

    All employees in contact with the clientele must wear a mask at all times. Our employees and massage therapists providing care wear masks and eye protection.

    Our employees follow a strict handwashing protocol; for employees providing care, hands are washed before and after each treatment.

  • Is it possible to come directly to the spa to get a massage or a treatment the same day?

    We recommend that you reserve your treatment or massage in advance to ensure availability by contacting customer service at 1-877-761-2772. If possible, we will be happy to accommodate same-day reservation requests on site, but we cannot guarantee availability.

  • What should I do if I have symptoms or if I may have been exposed to Covid-19 and have already booked a treatment or massage?

    If you are experiencing symptoms or are likely to have been exposed to Covid-19, we ask that you reschedule your reservation, at no charge, at a later time, for the health and safety of all and in accordance with public health recommendations. You may call customer service at 1-877-761-2772 to reschedule your appointment.
