Following the recent government and public health announcements, we are pleased to announce that Strøm Nordic Spa will be reopening the following services as follows:
– The thermal experience, including indoor and outdoor areas, will be accessible again as of June 27 in all our establishments, as well as our restaurants gradually starting June 27;
– Our massage therapy and aesthetic care services, already available in all our establishments, will continue to be offered.

We recommend that you reserve your treatment or massage in advance to ensure availability by contacting customer service at 1 877 761-2772. No reservation required to enjoy the thermal experience. If you are experiencing symptoms or are likely to have been exposed to Covid-19, we ask that you reschedule your visit at a later time, as recommended by public health.
You should arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time, so that you can take full advantage of your treatment and as the new procedures that have been put in place require a little more time than usual.
You will have to answer a health questionnaire before you can enter our facilities. If you are experiencing symptoms or are likely to have been exposed to Covid-19, unfortunately we will have to ask you to reschedule your visit at a later time, for the health and safety of all.
Hand washing is mandatory at the entrance and exit of the spa, as well as before and after your treatment. Disinfection stations will be available throughout the site.
The social distance of 2 metres must be respected everywhere on the site, except for the treatment rooms, where additional measures have been taken. In some locations, signs and ground signage to direct traffic have been installed to facilitate distancing.
Before accessing the pools and baths, a passage through the locker rooms and a shower will be mandatory for all.Your personal belongings must be left in the locker that will be assigned to you, where a clean towel and bathrobe will be waiting for you on arrival.
REMOVAL OF WATER FOUNTAINS AND COMMON OBJECTS
As the water fountains are currently closed, you can buy a bottle of water at the reception desk or bring your own already filled bottle with you to the site. Common and shared items such as hair dryer, cotton pads and mouthwash have also been removed from the locker rooms. It is permitted to bring your own personal hair dryer.
Wearing a mask is mandatory during all treatments and massages, with the exception of face treatments. It is also recommended to wear it indoors. We invite you to bring your own mask, but can provide you with one if needed.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
We ask you to pay by debit, credit or gift card only. Cash is not accepted until further notice.
The maximum number of clients admitted on site, but also in certain restricted areas such as locker rooms, is limited in order to make social distancing possible.
RISK ASSESSMENT QUESTIONNAIRE
A daily Covid-19 risk assessment questionnaire for all employees, massage therapists and clients has been put in place as well as protocols as recommended by public health and CNESST.
The frequency of cleaning and disinfection of all surfaces, goods and areas of high traffic has been increased. Care equipment and treatment rooms are rigorously disinfected between each customer, as well as keys, bracelets, padlocks and lockers.
All employees in contact with customers wear masks at all times. Our employees and massage therapists providing care wear a mask as well as an eye protection. Protective walls have also been installed at the cash registers and at various key locations.
Our employees follow a strict handwashing protocol; employees and massage therapists giving the treatments wash their hands before and after every treatment.
The usual check-up will be done verbally with your massage therapist or esthetician before your treatment in order to limit contact with shared objects.
We are committed to following and respecting all recommendations and regulations issued by public health.

Are all the facilities related to the thermal experience currently accessible?
It is now possible for you to take advantage of our indoor and outdoor thermal experience facilities such as hot and cold baths, pools, relaxation rooms and saunas. However, some facilities remain closed for the moment, such as the steam baths, exfoliation areas and the flotation bath (at the Strøm Old Quebec only). We will update our website as the situation evolves.
Are the facilities, treatments and massages offered at Strøm available again?

What are the main measures in place to ensure health and customer safety?
Strøm Nordic Spa is committed to respecting and enforcing all the measures and instructions issued by the Institut national de santé publique du Québec which are integrated into our response plan for Covid-19.
More specifically, these measures target five key areas:
- Site improvement measures
- Adherence to physical distancing measures
- Implementation and application of strict hygiene measures
- Application of respiratory etiquette
- Provision of protective equipment
What specific measures are applied for Strøm's employees and massage therapists?
Employees and massage therapists must complete a daily risk assessment questionnaire for Covid-19 and must follow isolation protocols, if applicable, as recommended by public health and CNESST.
All employees in contact with the clientele must wear a mask at all times. Our employees and massage therapists providing care wear masks and eye protection.
Our employees follow a strict handwashing protocol; for employees providing care, hands are washed before and after each treatment.
Is it possible to come directly to the spa to get a massage or a treatment the same day?
We recommend that you reserve your treatment or massage in advance to ensure availability by contacting customer service at 1-877-761-2772. If possible, we will be happy to accommodate same-day reservation requests on site, but we cannot guarantee availability.
Do I need to make a reservation to take advantage of the restaurant services and have access to the pools and baths?
For access to the thermal experience, reservations are not required but there may be some waiting. For the restaurants, we recommend that you make a reservation at the reception desk to ensure a place at a time that is convenient for you.
What should I do if I have symptoms or if I may have been exposed to Covid-19 and have already booked a treatment or massage?
If you are experiencing symptoms or are likely to have been exposed to Covid-19, we ask that you reschedule your reservation, at no charge, at a later time, for the health and safety of all and in accordance with public health recommendations. You may call customer service at 1-877-761-2772 to reschedule your appointment.
Is it possible to get a refund if I recently purchased a gift card for services not currently available at one of your locations?
Since gift cards are not linked to a specific date and do not have an expiry date, we invite you to keep them and use them at a later date when these services become available again.
